Four areas of discipleship focus

At St. Paul's we believe that we grow in our discipleship in many ways, but this can be summarized in four areas of focus.  Community, learning, commitment, and serving.

Community - Community is grown when we gather for worship, for learning, for encouragement, and for fellowship.

Learning - Learning happens in Bible Study, Christian Education, Accountability Groups, Small Groups, and worship

Commitment - Commitment is shown when we faithfully attend worship, study, give of our resources and time, and serve as leaders and mentors

Serving - Serving is helping in worship, with children and youth, teaching a class, mentoring someone in faith, and volunteering in mission

The path of discipleship.

We grow in our faith from

  • starting out questioning and seeking or Exploring Christ,
  • when we profess our faith we begin Transforming in Christ,
  • as we grow in faith we are Maturing in Christ, and
  • when we are fully-committed disciples, we are Centering in Christ

Each stage of the path of discipleship is important and at each stage we can find ourselves stuck or we can find we are growing in our faith.  At St. Paul's we seek to provide opportunities for people to grow in faith, no matter where they find themselves on the journey.

Join us as we travel...

Join us on the journey of faith at St. Paul's.  We are a great group to travel with on the path of discipleship.
